Many councils require site capability and system design reports to be prepared to resolve issues with respect to the management of wastewater in un-sewered areas
Our reports comply with the requirements of
-AS1547:2000
-NSW Environment and Health Protection Guidelines, DLG 1998
SKU/Item Number: WWRP
Our consultants have extensive industry experience
· We work closely with the local council officer to ensure the report and system design will meet their requirements prior to submission
· Reports can be submitted to council in Hard Copy or electronically
· The system design is discussed with you prior to lodging the report to ensure it meets your budget and landscaping requirements
· In some cases to meet the council requirements the site effluent application areas may have to be located in parts of your site you may wish to use for other purposes. Our recommendations will always be discussed with your prior to finalizing the system design.
What will my report look like?
Along with a text based report you will receive a detailed irrigation area plan. This is required for the council to issue an approval in the case or an AWTS the plan below shows a number of irrigation options including
- Spray Irrigation, used for open areas of grass land where there is no risk to public health and the nearby environment like watercourses and dams
- Subsurface irrigation where there is public space and pathways in close proximity. The use or subsurface drip lines works to ensure that effluent has good contact with the soil and is contained within the defined irrigation area. Subsurface irrigation is usually recommended for all sites.
- Spray subsurface combination, used where spray irrigation may need to be mobile and used to supplement irrigation of high traffic areas. The subsurface irrigation is installed and the spray irrigation area can be relocated to areas around the fixed irrigation area.
